    w/w monitoze brak obrazu na poczatku swieci sie lamka na zielona a pozniej na pomaranczowo i miga , monitor jest odlaczany od kompa ,a jesli jest podlaczany to taka sama reakcja, wogule nie zalacza sie kineskop jezeli by ktos mial stycznasc z takim problemem to byl bym wdzieczny za pomoc

    QUESTION NO. P50902-4: Apple Studio Display 17 [M6496]. A standard fault in this monitor seems to be that something arches (assumingly within the flyback) that can go on for a while until it blows up other parts and the monitor stops working. I`ve got a bundle of these monitors that have stopped working. What other parts (apart from the flyback) should be replaced? When repaired by Apple their list of replaced parts show a diode, a rectifier diode RL2, an 18 Volts zener diode of type MTZJ18, a 2K resistor, the Q503--2SJ306 MOSFET and the flyback (6174T-13003C or 6174Z-1024B or Y2653820). The 2K resistor is easy to find as there`s only one on the print (R555), the flyback and the MOSFET are also obvious but where are the other parts (what are their part numbers)?
    Besides the flyback, check FET`s Q503 = 2SJ306 and Q507 = 2SK2847. D502 is an 18V zener such as you have described, used for gate protection on Q503, but also check D505, the diode off the gate of Q507. The D503, off the drain of Q503, is either RL2 or RL2A (Sanken ultrafast types); double check your exact type, as RL2A is rated at 600V, 1.1 Amps, but RL2 is only rated for 350V. Also check IC501, Q203, Q204, R547 (47 ohm), and the small diode connecting to R555, which is D532 (similar in specs to 1N4448).
