Zmiana MASTER / SLAVE w CD/DVD Laptopowym
Witam - mam problem z ustawieniem Master/slave - problem może trywialny dla napędów stacjonarnych, ale to są napędy laptopowe - nie ma zworek...

napędy to:

1. Teac CD-224E
2. Toshiba sd-c2502

Napędy te konfiguruje się tak samo...
Stan wysoki na pinie 47 - Master
Stan niski na pinie 47 (Pin 47 połączony z 45) - Slave

yyy... a jak mam podać to napięcie? Kiedyś miałem do tgo programik ale z ieiem czasu, formatami mi uleciał...

hmmm... a nie da sę jakoś programowo ? Nie chce za bardzo sie lutownicą bawić bo napęd miał iść do kolegi na jakiś miesiąc - dwa i potem wraca do obecnego sprzętu...

Background information:
All Toshiba slim line drives work in cable select mode (CSEL) by default. This means, the drive gets a signal from the laptop telling it if it has to act as master or as slave device on the IDE channel.
Some laptop computers in the market do not work according to this specification, but use the CSEL signal in an inverted manner to save a little bit of electric current. If you install a drive running in standard CSEL mode in such a laptop, the inverted signal will force it to work in the wrong master/slave mode giving the drive the same logical address as the hard disk drive installed on the same IDE channel. As a result, either the HDD or the optical drive, or both may not be detected by the BIOS and will not be usable. Some notebooks might show an error message on start-up, e.g. "IDE #1 error" or similar.

Solution: The drive needs a special firmware version that can deal with the inverted CSEL signal. To avoid this special firmware being installed by mistake, we do not offer it as download from our website, but send it to customers on a case by case basis. To receive the special firmware version for your drive, please fill in the contact form on this website, or send an email to our hotline team with the following information: Exact model number, current firmware, problem description, your email address (for sending the necessary files).

Liteon, Quanta, Sony, NEC to tak naprawdę ten sam napęd firmowany przez różnych dostawców :)

Zawsze nic nie zaszkodzi popróbować tego narzędzia dla Liteona z codeguys.org - najwyżej wyświetli że nie obsługuje i tyle :)
