Karta grafiki PCIexpress ver 2.0 w płycie z PCIex ver 1

Witam. Mam takie pytanie: czy nowa karta graficzna PCIExpress x16 versja 2.0 będzie działac prawidłowo w starszej płycie głównej która posiada slot PCI Express x16 versja 1.0 ? Konkretnie chcodzi o karte Radeon HD4650 PCIExpres x16 ver. 2.0 i płyte główną Asrock ALiveDual-eSATA2. Płyta ta posiada starszy chipset nvidia 250 i starsza wersje gniazda PCI Express. Czy w tym przypadku istnieje wsteczna kompatybilność ?
