Regeneration of asus a4000 battery

    hi, i need regeneration battery asus a4000,battery is a42-a4,i open battery and have 24c02 and BQ2060,cells are not new what i can do?what i use for regeneration

    Hi. You must read eeprom 24c02 using programmer, for example: ponyprog, si-prog or other 24cxx. When you'll read it, please attach here and someone will reset dump file to factory new. Next you'll download new dump and upload to eeprom. You must also see how many cells your battery have, and check capacity of them. Next try to buy new cells. Replace them. Remember to disconnect/connect cells from/to pcb with proper order.

    ok i can read 24c02 and post dump but need only read and write and cange old cells,or need use sbworkshop for reset flash?if i open other battery new and removed cells i can in stall in this battery?

    Read only 24c02. Bq2060 is a controller which exist with external eeprom - 24c02 or 24c01. In some cases inside battery are controllers with internal eeprom - flashrom, for example bq2085, bq20z90. You have external eeprom, you must read/write it.
    Yes, you can use cells from new battery but you must know capacity, because new capacity must be set in dump file. Check capacity of old battery, then new battery.
