Quote: Bei der Übergabe des neuen Fahrzeugs ist das elektronische Alarmsystem bereits vom Fiat-Kundendienstnetz programmiert. Für evtl. nachträgliche Programmierungen wird empfohlen, sich auf jeden Fall an das Fiat-Kundendienstnetz zu wenden.
Die Bedingungen zur Durchführung der Programmierung sind folgende:
- das elektronische Alarmsystem muß mit der Fernsteuerung ausgeschaltet sein;
- der Notschlüssel des elektronischen Alarmsystems muß im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht sein (Position "ON" - siehe nächsten Abschnitt "Wie kann das System unwirksam gemacht werden")
- der Zündschlüssel muß auf STOP stehen oder abgezogen sein;
- die Türen müssen geschlossen und die Zentralverriegelung ausgeschaltet sein.
Nun wie folgt vorgehen:
1) Die Taste A, Abb. 5, mit einem spitzen Gegenstand (z.B. Kugelschreiber) gedrückt halten. Die rote LED-Leuchte B blinkt.
2) Taste A gedrückt halten und die Fernsteuerung mit der anderen Hand bei mindestens 50 cm Abstand zum Empfänger richten und einen Impuls abgeben. Hierzu die Taste auf der Fernsteuerung drücken, bis die LED-Leuchte auf dieser einmal blinkt. Die LED-Leuchte B brennt nun mit Dauerlicht was bedeutet, daß der Code gespeichert wurde.

The conditions for the realization of the programming are the following:
- the electronic alarm system must be switched off with the remote control;
- the emergency key of the electronic alarm system must be turned clockwise (position "ON" - see the next segment " How the system can be made ineffective ")
- the ignition key must stand on STOP or have departed;
- the doors must be closed and the central locking be switched off.
Now as follows go forward:
1) Hold the key A, fig. 5, with a sharp object (e.g., ballpoint pen) low-spirited. The red LED light B flashes.
2) Hold key A low-spirited and direct the remote control with the other hand with at least 50 cms of distance to the receiver and deliver an impulse. Moreover press the key the remote control, until the LED light on this flashes once. Now the LED light B burns with long-term light what means that the code was stored.
