Mostek sieciowy lan+wifi. Problem / linux i karta wifi

    Witam. Mam problem. Chodzi o to ze mam laptopa nx 7400 i zainstalowanego na nim linuxa open suse 10.2 I oryginalna viste. Mam tez Pc-ta za pomoca ktorego łacze sie z netem. Internet to radiowka. Karta wifi w pc przy pomocy ktorej sie łaczy z netem to realtek czy jak to sie pisze:P Mam tez w pc druga karte wifi Planexa. Jeśli skonfiguruje udostepnianie połaczenia sieciowego z jednej karty na druga necik działa na obu kompach. Czyli tak jak byc powinno.

    Jednak niestety suse nie widzi karty wifi w laptopie:( Cudowałem, wymyslałem, ale zainstalować wifi na linuxie nie umiałem. No wiec do pc dołozyłem karte sieciowa zwykła(rj45). Tyle ze na isa i 10mbps. Ale wazne ze działa:) skonfigurowałem udostepnianie połączenia karte sieciową i necik działa i na linuxie i na viscie:> Tyle ze przez kabel...:( no wiec wymysliłem sobie ze udostepnie neta połączeniu wifi(planex) i przez kabel. Tak by na viscie cieszyc sie bezprzewodowka a na linuxie(no niestety) tylko przez kabel.

    I tu pojawił sie kolejny problem. Po konfiguracji sieci kreatorem pojawił mi sie mostek sieciowy(normalne) stworzony z karty sieciowej i wifi planexa. tyle ze... internet w takim układzie działa tylko przez kabel... przy udostepnieniu połaczenia tylko na wifi(bez karty sieciowej 'zwykłej") wszystko smigało.

    Karta planexa w mostku chyba nic nie wysyła w eter bo netstumbler w laptopie nic nie widzi. jesli wymusze na laptopie połaczenie adhoc z ta siecia(bez sygału) to na pc widze te siec. Jednak nie daje sie z nią połączyć. W oprogramowaniu dołączonym do planexa widać ze karta łapie pakiety ale nie wysyła. Co zrobic?? Pomocy.

    Witam.
    Ja bym pomęczył jednak linuksa i zainstalował tą bezprzewodową. Poszukaj na googlach programu ndiswrapper i jego opisu, potrafi wykorzystać sterowniki kart wifi windowsa pod linuksem. Też miałem problem ze sterownikami do wifi Asusa, ndiswrapper to rozwiązał.

    oczywiście ndiswrappera meczylem. nic to nie dało. Linux wogole nie widzi sprzetu. a jak nie widzi sprzetu to nie ma do czego tych sterownikow instalować:P instalowałem tak jak ktoś opisywał pod konsolą i wogole nie tworzył mi sie interfejs wlan

    Ta karta w laptopie jest wbudowana czy PCMCIA? Jak PCMCIA to musisz załadować moduły obsługi PCMCIA (w konsoli: modprobe -l | grep pcmcia <- tak sprawdzisz,czy masz je w systemie, jak nie to trzeba doinstalować), potem ładujesz: modprobe <nazwa_modułu>

    Mylisz się,dir3ctor, chyba nie miałeś jeszcze problemów z urządzeniami pod linuksem. Jeżeli jądro nie wykrywa podłączonego urządzenia, to właśnie problem może być w ustawieniach biosu. Dla pewności odpaliłbym jeszcze system z płytki z jakimś linuksem-live i wtedy sprawdził, czy karta wifi będzie widoczna.

    na ubuntu(live) sprawdzałem i dalej to samo. wczesniej miałem mandrive i tez nie było widać karty. bios... jakiś HP. dzisiaj laptop wyjezdza na 10dni z moim ojcem za granice. wiec nie bede miał dostepu do niego.

    franyo_z: mi sie wydawalo ze jest wlasnie zupelnie odwrotnie. Mialem kiedys staruszka p200 z zainstalowanym windowsem i dyskiem 40GB. Bios nie widzial calego dysku (starasznie stary), ale jak wrzucilem sobie Red Hata to obslugiwal on juz cala powierzchnie. Mi sie zawsze wydawalo ze linux wlasnie nie korzysta z ustawien w biosie, no moze nie liczac tych typu "wlacz/wylacz" urzadzenie, bo to oczywiste. No nic. Moze od tamtego czasu cos sie zmienilo.

    Z uwagami na temat ustawień biosu i linuksa spotkałem się przy instalacji karty wifi PCMCIA na starym laptopie IBM i linuksie PLD. Niestety już nie pamiętam, gdzie to znalazłem (przeglądałem wtedy setki stron), opisany tam był wpływ poszczególnych ustawień na działania linuksa w zakresie wykrywania sprzętu. Mi to nie pomogło, jednak, jak widać, problem istnieje.

Przy konfiguracji zaznaczylem ze chce obsługe kart broadcoma czy coś w tym stylu:P tak ze ładuje mi sie moduł bcm43xx a raczej... nie ładuje tak jak powinien. macie tu dmesg. moze jądro nie jest doskonałe -ale ruszyło - choć nie za pierwszym razem;p
