Memory Stick Preparation
* Remove unnecessary files from the MS before copying data.
* Use a Memory Stick formatter (Windows formatters are not supported). Sony format programs can be obtained
from support.sony-europe.com/memstick/downloads/downloads_ms.asp?l=en&f=MSFRM#disc.
* Choose “Full” format (not “Quick” format).
* The flash size should be 32MB or higher.
* Preferably use a Sony device. A steady performance of products of other brands is not guaranteed.
* The file written to the MS is a ‘Memstick.ind’ file.

2. MS DL EMMA NVM Update [Skip this step in case of a regular update]
2-1. Check whether the BA Main Board has a standard or silicon tuner mounted (TB 09TV090).
2-2. In case of a 40/46/52Z* panel, additionally check for the panel type (TB 09TV121).
2-3. Extract the appropriate “Basil/Coriander/Eco_Basil/Ginger/Paprika_*.zip” file attached to TB 09TV040.
2-4. Copy the entire “bin”, “eep” and “eg2l_dvt” folder together with the “autoexec.bat” file into the root of the MS.
2-5. Unplug the power cord. Do not use the [Power] key or [Standby] key on the remote commander.
2-6. Insert the Memory Stick.
2-7. Plug the power cord.
2-8. The Emma NVM data will be updated. No indications are shown during the upgrade. Only the green LED is on,
without picture.
2-9. Wait for 30 seconds.
2-10. Unplug the power cord, and take out the Memory Stick.
