Sanyo PLC-SU50S - Lampa nie włącza się, dioda miga na czerwono po uruchomieniu

hi all colleagues
i have this sanyo LCD projector with the following fault ...
when u press the power button the power led lights green and the cooling fans start to work but the main projector lamp didn't light on , after a few seconds ( 5-10) the green led lights red but flashing ( on-off) for about one min , during this one min the cooling fans work properly and can hear them before the unit go into stand by with a steady red led power indicator .
if u turned the projector on again it do the same trip but never have the main lamp work.
i have both 15.5V and 6V outputs from power supply , so i assume that the main switching power supply based on Ic631 = STR-Z2156A is working properly and the problem may be in one of the following :
defect Lamp
defect lamp ballast circuit wich include the inverter
defect power fail control circuit based on IC621=FA5502M
this is the first time i work with such a multimedia projector and just need any help or tips if any one has work with that before .
wanna know how to isolate the faulty stage here and if there any tips that may help in that .
i do appreciate any help or response and i do have the service manual for this unit

First of all check lamp (vacuum or heater) how long time you using this projector because is short limit of life lamp.

first of all i'd like to thank u much for response and trying to help me .
i do already suspect the lamp or inverter circuit , but don't have any high voltage prob to test the ballaster circuit output and also don't know how to test the lamp itself .
using multimeter on ohms range didn't give any reading and i'm not sure about this kind of lamps .
also , i don't know the time this projector work for , i have got it for repair from a company who also got from a medicine colleage for repair , also this is the first time i work with that kind of equipments .
i do monitor and tv repairs but never come across things like that projector before , also still didn't work on the new LCD and tft or plasma things .
we still have tubes for at least the next 30 years
if u or any one else know how to test this lamp or inverter circuit with a simple multimeter or using a general purpose 20Mhz scope , please tell or if u do have any documents related to that uplod please
