To perform the internal self-test, follow these steps:
Make sure the printer and computer are on.
Check that both print cartridges are properly installed and that the top cover is closed. The Power light on the front panel should be ON.
Push and hold the Power button (top button) as you push the Resume button (bottom button) four times, then release the buttons.
The printer will print the internal self-test. You should see five sets of lines on the test page: yellow, magenta, cyan, and two black. "
