- A BIT OF CLARITY -
It's important to note that this LCD is compatible, but
there are some optimizations required so thar you can use it in place of the original. Optimizations involve
rearranging the pins and
making slight modifications to the cover where the control buttons are located (very simple things). You will receive the compatible LCD, ready for installation (
with LCD pin modifications already made if you have purchased 'PLUG & PLAY' one only), and instructions on how to proceed with the installation of the LCD, along with the necessary modifications required to be made by your own on to the upper cover where the buttons are located. Otherwise, it won't fit correctly into the controller box.
However, it's important to note that the display needs to be carefully assembled, as it is a compatible unit with modified pins to ensure proper functioning on your device. Please be aware that
we do not provide any warranty for products that are assembled externally by your own on. Please note that
we sell this as a private transaction, and we are unable to provide a formal invoice. And if we cannot give any guarantee due to installation outside the seat, we advise you if in doubt to be
assist by an specialist or go to a local repair shop for replacement assistance.
And for this reason I would
prefer it to be sent to me in Italy for repair where I will install and check the functionality of the controller (and
if the controller is broken or completely defective, the controller
will be returned to you without any cost for the LCD display, only the costs for the return shipping (you can also book it yourself) with a
repair fee of 30 Euros). And if you should have any malfunctions or anomalies with the rubber control buttons we will be able to evaluate the repairs and the possible
restoration of the functionality of the rubber buttons also.
We use the

To clarify, the screens are
plug & play (with LCD pin modifications already made
if you have purchased 'PLUG & PLAY' one), and we will made the necessary modifications, including ensuring that the pins are correctly ordered, similar to the old TeeJet display (you can compare the pin layout of your display with the image we attached in the post where you can also see the video regarding the function of the replaced display). You
will also receive a schematic for pin identification and verification of their correct placement in comparison to the old display and if necessary you can go to a local repair shop to make changes as needed. Replacing the old display should be a straightforward process.
I know very well that it is a very rare device for spare parts and I too struggled before finding the compatible part that worked. At the moment I have had 4 TeeJet controllers for replacement of which 2 have been repaired, 1 was faulty due to missing SMD components on the motherboard (pulled out by owner who attempted repair opening the controller he broke some components from the motherboard and lost them) and 1 burnt CPU controller. Our availability to ship the LCD is considered only for those
who need it from far away and the
shipping costs are too high. This announcement has been left for those
who can afford to ship the device to Italy at a low cost (5-17 euros) - so I
can guarantee better assistance on the replacement and obviously you won't have to worry about spending a lot of money without knowing if the controller is work or not.
