    Hello,
I have a 2011 Renault Laguna mk3 2.0 Dci. The dash shows parking brake fault message all the time, and don't let me see other things like odometer, fuel consumption etc. Actually car and the parking brake works fine. I even parked it on a hill, and car didn't roll when parking brake is applied.
My odb2 tool can't see any fault code so I can't clear it. Renault service can clear it, however, after parking car on a hill, fault message occurs again, even though car doesn't roll.
Do you have any idea what could be the problem? Or/and how can I clear the fault message without going to Renault service everytime it occurs? Many thanks.

Clearing error codes wont solve the problem. Go to the garage that specializes on french cars they will read the error code, diagnose it and repair so that error will not display again. There is no other advice.

Thank you for your reply. Nearest garage is in 100km. I had gone to a garage before. They couldn't find anything and said everything is ok, so they couldn't do anything other than clearing the code. However I'm getting the same message after I parked the car on any hill even though there was no problem like rolling. I'm asking here to know if anyone knows how to read systems other than engine ECU with obd2 port because after clearing message, there is no problem in usage of the car.
